On that infamous day, millions of people cried out to God for His help and protection. While we thank God for His care, we face another crisis today—a moral and spiritual crisis that is undermining the biblical foundations upon which this nation was established. In response, a broad coalition of denominations and fellowships under the Awakening America Alliance is calling upon Christians to gather at their county courthouses on September 11, 2008. This will be a time to reflect on the greatness of our nation, honestly address our shortcomings, and to pray for a spiritual awakening in our churches, communities, and nation.

On behalf of the planning team and many other Orange County residents who are concerned about the issues we face, we want to invite you and your congregation to be part of the Cry Out America! Solemn Assembly Prayer Gathering on Thursday, September 11. We will convene from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Orlando Orange County Courthouse located at 425 North Orange Ave, Orlando, FL * Various individuals from the church and civic communities will be involved, so please join us in seeking God’s help for the soul of our nation.

Seating at the event site will not be available, attendees may bring lawn chairs. We ask that you use the courthouse parking located on the right of the Courthouse.

For more information about Cry Out America!, visit http://www.awakeningamerica.us/
To receive information click on: Awakening America - Learn About Us
Or go to: http://awakeningamerica.us/cryoutamerica/signup.php

If you have questions about the Orange County gathering, call me at the info listed below:
Rev. To expand the Assemblies of God. If you discover that there are a group of Assembly of God people in an area and they have to drive a long way to go to an Assemblies of God church. This may be a by-product of the right reason to start a church, but it should not be the primary reason.
2. To create a church you want to attend. You have a vision for a particular style of church and you want to make it a reality. The problem with this approach is that it is focused on the institution of the church and not on the Mission of Christ.
3. To demonstrate the best way to “do” church. You believe that you have discovered the “right” way to plant a church. You believe other methods are inferior to yours. Pride always precedes a fall. God uses many styles and forms. There is not “one way” to plant a church.
4. To be relevant. While it is certainly important to communicate the never changing Gospel in a “relevant” way, pursuing “relevance” for its own sake is a faulty strategy. Being relevant is more than just using modern communication tools, etc. Real relevance flows out of an authentic relationship with God communicated through a genuine life transparently lived.
5. To bring back the good old days. You want to revive the church as it used to be back in the glory days of the 1950’s. This is a variation on the “relevance” theme except it works in the opposite direction. Equating true spirituality with worship modes of days gone by confuses methodology with theology. They are not the same thing.
6. To leave a legacy. If you mean a building and property, then it’s a dumb reason to plant. If you mean people, then you might be on to something.
7. Because you’ve tried every other door and planting is your only option left. This might be the dumbest reason to plant.
8. To provide another option for Christians. You think all the other churches in town are lame and if you start a really good one, everyone will come to it.
9. To demonstrate that God has anointed you. Some people plant churches because no one else will affirm their calling. Starting a church to prove God has called you is setting yourself up for a very rough ride.
10. To be part of a denominational church planting initiative. It’s good to be a team player, but planting a church because somebody else said you should or because it’s trendy and popular is a recipe for disaster.
This list is probably not exhaustive. These are just some of the short-sighted reasons I’ve heard from people who aspired to plant or from people who did plant and it didn’t go well. Feel free to comment and add your own “dumb” reasons.
So what are the right reasons to plant a church? Here are a few reasons I think are headed in the right direction.
To build a bridge to lost people and help them become followers of Christ.
To obey a clear calling of God.
To tangibly fulfill the Great Commission by making disciples who make disciples.
Because it’s not OK that millions of Americans are sociologically disconnected from a community of disciples and God has called us to go where they are and help them find him.
Feel free to respond with your own thoughts.

Rev. Night and day prayer changes the spiritual atmosphere of a city. Today, across the whole earth God is restoring night and day worship and prayer to the cities of the earth as part of His commitment to restore His church to release speedy justice in the earth.
"now shall not God bring about JUSTICE for His elect, who cry out to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them? I tell you that He will bring about JUSTICE FOR THEM SPEEDILY..." Luke 18:7-8
This strategic plan of the Lord Jesus, in unity with the Holy Spirit, will reach a crescendo before the Lord returns, as the bowls of intercession become full in heaven.
"the twenty-four elders fell down before the lamb, each having a harp, and golden BOWLS FULL of incense, which are the prayers of the saints." It happens by directing our resources toward reaching the lost, breaking out of our walls and into our society, and compelling people with the gospel. This is called a missional approach.
A missional church is one that is faithful to the gospel - from the inerrancy of Scripture to the doctrine of Pentecost -- and that contextualizes or adapts the message to the culture. Like the apostle Paul, who said "he became all things to all people
(1Corinthians 9:22), we must reach, impact and change our culture by the power of the word. Whatever the community may be, we must frame our message accordingly and put the good news in a package that appeals to them. In simplest terms, it's faith in action!.
Terry and I, are looking forward to visiting your section/congregation and share more about our call with your members. We understand that you have a busy calendar schedule for the upcoming months. Please consider having us share at your congregation. I will be calling you in order to set-up an appointment with you and/or your Missions Committee. Our Mission is to reach the spiritually lost people of America by mobilizing prayer, people and resources. The need is great in the greater Orlando FL. area. They are families in this area that have never heard a credible offer of the Gospel message. Please help us reach them....it is imperative that we go and we are ready for you to send us.
We believe that God has called the Assemblies of God back to basics in these last days! Jesus said "I will build my Church" and He is doing so. New church plants are springing up all over this nation and together we as a fellowship of churches are sacrificially responding to God's call to multiply. Again Thank you for your prayers and support. We are looking forward to meeting with you......!.

BELLEVIEW FIRST ASSEMBLY OF GOD
Terry and I enjoyed a busy month of itinerating. We started by blazing the mission trail down to Belleview Florida. in Section 4. We shared during the service our passion/call with Pastor Carl Thompson and his congregation. Pastor Thompson shared he came to Belleview First Assembly of God in 1994.
He is married to Glenda Thompson and have one daughter. He has been serving the Assembly of God and his community for a great number of years. He has a legacy of service, valuable information about servant-hood leadership and looking forward to the future. They are both truly a trophy of God's Kingdom. Terry and I bless their efforts, prayers and support.

BUSHNELL FULL GOSPEL ASSEMBLY OF GOD

We had the opportunity the following week to trail blaze and meet Pastor Clarence & Merit Crane of Bushnell Full Gospel Assembly of God

His Mission Committee invited Terry and I to come on a Sunday evening and share our hearts/desire for pioneering a congregation in the greater Orlando area. Pastor Crane, and his Congregation have a heart for missions in America and in the foreign field.
This is a church that wants to engage our culture with the truth of the gospel in ways they can grasp, they want to reach the unreached in their own community and across the nation.
We had a great time of fellowship after the service sharing God's mighty deeds in our lives and about the church getting beyond the sanctuary walls. Pastor Crane and his wife left foot prints on our hearts and they will always be in the root of our prayers. We thank them for their prayers and financial support in the future.

OCALA MARION OAKS ASSEMBLY OF GOD
The following week we blazed the trail to Ocala Marion Oaks Assembly of God

We met with Pastor Tim & Jan McIntyre, his children and precious grandchildren. He invited us to come and share during their two Sunday morning services.
Pastor Tim and his congregation support U.S. Missions and Missionaries in the foreign field. They are doing effective ministry Glo-cally reaching/discipling the community of Marion Oaks and around the world. "Their church is unique because of its diversity, they are several ethic cultures being represented in his congregation, says Pastor Tim."
Pastor Tim and his missions committee were in the process of sending out two teams to evangelize/minister in Miami and Alabama. Terry and I want to thank them for their expression of faith in action, their prayers and support.

Prayer Request
Please join us in prayer for the following: 1. Continual open doors for ministry in this Peninsular
Florida District.2. Continual favor with District, Presbyters and
Sectional Pastors.3. I posted this article for you to read and SELAH.

Fred & Terry

Compelled By Love
By Ed Stetzer

It’s the middle of the week. Again.
Sunday was great – at least sorta. The new person you met yesterday might attend next weekend – maybe. And the podcast you listened to is teaching you how to lead better – you hope.
But there is still one lingering question in the back of your head.
Why?
After all, who really appreciates all that I’m doing? Sure. The person being fawned over is grateful. The friend in the hospital room is glad to see you. And the person who was led to Christ states their “eternal gratitude.”
But sometimes, we get tired.
The “wet blanket committee” roams the church to see what passion they can squelch. Tons of logistical work has to be done when all you really want to do is talk to people about Jesus. And there’s the never ending cycle of dreaming, strategy, and vision-casting. It’s a lot for one person to handle.
So why?
Because of love. Not love like a Reese Witherspoon romantic-comedy or an afternoon talk show pseudo-psychology counseling session. I’m talking about love that asks you to die for the greater good. Like Jack Bauer in 24. Or Leonidas and the Spartans. The kind of love that motivates us should be the same as Christ – a dying love.
Love stands at the center of the Christian life. Understood rightly, it is the “why.” It is the supreme command of scripture. When Christ was asked to name the greatest law, he pointed out that it is to love God supremely and others sacrificially (Matthew 22:37-40).
But here is a problem in the church. And, unfortunately, the world has caught on to it. We have a lot of unloving Christians – and unloving churches.
We all must admit that, at times, we have lived this oxymoronic life too. To that end, God works to change the passions and intentions of our hearts. He forms us to be like the Son. He knows that for the church to tell the gospel, it must live the gospel as well. The life of the church must be a living, breathing expression of that love because it is founded in the One who is love.
1 John 4:7-8 (HCSB) Dear friends, let us love one another, because love is from God, and everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
There is a devastating lesson contained in these verses. If your life isn’t marked by love, then you don’t know God. But how do you know if it is? Let’s consider three tests.
Test #1: Entry to Christ I’m not talking about a bland repetition of the so-called sinner’s prayer. I am not against a sinner’s prayer. But, on its own, it limits the gospel to repeating words.
Forming a relationship with the Almighty is more than signing a little card and parroting a prayer on the front pew. Utter transformation by our Creator God flows out His nature of love.
Ultimately, I think we do a disservice to people when we say, “Just pray this prayer,” and then we pronounce them “saved” or “born again” or whatever term is being used this week. A person can read the prayer on a tract and never begin a relationship with their Creator. But when it is genuinely the intent of my heart to repent, follow Christ, and love Him supremely, He changes me.
You know this. So make sure your “why” is right. You minister so people can be invited into a transforming relationship with Christ, not so they will join your church or sign on to your vision for the community.
Test #2: Walk with Christ In the third grade, I stopped signing cards “Love, Ed.” I thought it was silly, girly, and, to be honest, my family did not really love that well. So, all my cards ended with “From Ed.” Cold, sterile, and pointless.
Too many in church leadership operate with a “From _____” mentality. Churches and Christians act like religious pharmacies doling out platitudes to get people through the day but never entering into their lives. That’s nothing like Christ, who was called a drunkard because He hung out with people at dinner parties.
Maybe this is why Oprah, Dr. Phil, and the SuperNanny are so popular – people feel loved by them, even though they’ve never met them.
If the church is represented by any human emotion through the scriptures – it is love. Just consider the main images God uses to describe us: body parts rightly relating to one another, a temple housing the presence of God, and a bride anticipating the arrival of her groom.
Let love embody your missional life. The church, born out of the character of God, is missional by nature, so let love stand as the guard over that mission.
Begin by extending a compassionate heart to the members of your church. When feeling prompted to check in with an absent member, do it out of love instead of duty. This week, sit somewhere different during worship and interact with someone new. Seek out an older person who is often alone. Help your family collectively decide who to reach out to – perhaps someone in (or even outside of) your church who is in pain. These simple acts of love will put us on the proper path to “carrying a cup of cold water in Jesus’ name.”
Just make sure you think beyond the Sunday morning crowd. Invite a family over for dinner who has never attended your church before. Invest in a long-term friendship with someone you know is “far from God.” Organize your Bible study group to take care packages to a home for abused women in the county. There are myriad ways to go on mission with God, to express His love to those who need it desperately.
Test #3: Teaching ChristCatalyst is all about moving people from here to there. Leadership, it has been said by many, is influence. But influence devoid of love is cold manipulation. There is a choice we must make about how we will pass on leadership skills to the next group of leaders for God’s church.
I was raised in a New York union family. My dad was an iron lather. My grandfather, a firemen. My uncle, a cop. All Irish … and all tough folks. And, in my neighborhood, it could be pretty cut-throat.
You can imagine my surprise when I entered the ministry, expecting something completely different – and rarely found it. Church people can make union people look like daisies. Then again, maybe you are not surprised.
I have good friends – like many of you – who have been through “meat grinder” churches. It is ugly and a lot of bitterness usually follows. But I also know a lot of godly leaders in the church today. They are the ones who live out 2 Corinthians 5:14. Being compelled by Christ’s love, they lead others to the mercy of God.
Evaluate your leadership lessons to others. Are you raising-up leaders who show love by dying as Christ did or manipulate people toward a preferred future feeling? The portrait of God the Father is that of the searcher; looking for the lost coin, the lost sheep, and the lost son. The image of God the Son is that of the Great Shepherd who lays down his life for the flock. The image of God the Spirit is the one who indwells the mortal so we might be reminded of the enduring truths of God.
As others taught you, it is time to turn around and disciple the next generation of leaders for God’s kingdom. Teach your new leaders to love people as Christ did – with a dying love.
What Now?If you, like me, bemoan the lack of love in Christians and their churches, let’s start the revolution. Be the one who shows the love of Christ, lives the normal Christian life – and truly acts like a Christian.
I teach my 6 year old that others will know we are Jesus’ disciples by our love. Now, we must live that truth out. That will make all the difference.
Order either Compelled by Love or Impulsados por el Amor, the Spanish language version, through wmustore.com and receive 30% off when you use promo code G01032.
Ed Stetzer is the President of LifeWay Research and co-author (with Philip Nation) of Compelled by Love: The Most Excellent Way to Missional Living. Trusted missiologist Ed Stetzer, along with pastor and coauthor Philip Nation, in Compelled by Love will challenge you to look at love within the context of God, the church, and the lives of individual believers. Compelled by Love will give you a basic theological understanding and a platform for personal application to understand what missional living is all about—that is, understanding your calling to love others. Look at the love of God; begin to truly understand what is at the center of the church’s foundation, Commission, and direction; but most importantly, understand your role within the mission of God as you integrate love into all aspects of your missional calling.

Rev. We will always be especially appreciative of the wonderful people we have known and loved from all over the world in the United States. It is what makes America so strong and far-reaching in its influence…many people, many cultures and languages, but one purpose…to insure the human rights of “all.” How wonderful the land of the free…the home of the brave!

We are glad you are praying to experience with us a greater vision for God’s mighty movement among the area of Winter Springs and our support Team.

Please join us this weekend in praying for a receptive heart…a heart prepared for His leading and a contrite Spirit. Please resist any hurry in prayer…insure that you “listen” even as you speak with the Savior. I Chronicles 7:14: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

There are many concerns in the world today…and in our own ministry target area. May we be His people bending low before our Living God pleading for the needs of humanity with great love, trust and faith.

Our Prayer is: "Dear merciful Father, Gracious God, hold us close to your heart. Help us to be still and “know” that you are God…You alone know from beginning to end and you have a special purpose for those you have called to serve at this time in earth’s history. Keep us humble before you, honest about our own needs and struggles. It is through our own surrender that we are best able to depend on You, and not ourselves, as we serve others. May our hearts be joined in love and fellowship of faith…and may we anticipate a Great Blessing from Heaven. Thank you Father….In Jesus mighty name we Pray, Amen.

Fred & Terry Sanchez U.S. Missions

Rev. This sound better in Spanish. This is a Spanish tradition for Friday's. We get together with family, eat, laugh and share about how our week ended.

Terry and I will be sharing that we were scouting our target area and came upon a Hindu Temple being established in Winter Springs. This did not surprise Terry and I because we always knew that our area is being influenced by animistic religions. This is one of the reason why we feel called to this area of Winter Springs.

This reminds me about a scripture in the book of Ephesians 2:1-5

"And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

We do not dislike Hindu's but come against their belief with intentions of setting them free from their animistic beliefs. Please pray with us that GOD give us favor in raising our financial support as we itinerate so that we can start reaching those from other countries that are here in the USA in a desperate need of the Savior Jesus Christ.

Fred Sanchez

Rev. We went down to Belleview FL. and spent a great time with Pastor Carl Thompson. He is a great man of God. He has been serving the Lord for over fifty year in his community. PTL

We left there and went in the opposite direction to Bushnell Assembly of God Pastor Crane. They also have a desire to give to missions/church planting.

Terry and I are grateful to these two congregations that want to help support our vision/call for pioneering a congregation in the Orlando FL. metro area.
It is a blessing to know individuals that have a desire for reaching the lost.
Terry and I hugged on their necks, pray with them for their task of reaching their community, for blessing us with the love of Christ and partnering with our mission.

I truly believe almighty GOD is going to bless them abundantly in return.

Fred Sanchez
Lead Pastor
Victorious Christian Living

Rev. I will be sharing from Acts chapter 1o. the story of Peter and Cornelius and how God is working in the life of the believer as well as the individual seeking God (Cornelius).
My main points will be:

Believers grow little by little.

Sometimes a person must choose to obey culture or God

God does not show favoritism.

Keep us in prayer.

Fred Sanchez

Lead pastor

Rev. What a blessing!

We had a great week of ministry. We helped a family with a child that has an un-reversible medical condition go on a boat crews. We hosted them through the "Make a Wish foundation" they are having the time of their lives at no expense to them. Isn't God GOOD!

On Wednesday i officiated over a wedding at the Central Florida State Prison and what a tremendous blessing. The men we are disciplining are understanding that God can bring restoration into their lives through Jesus, that they can align their lives to the Word of God and receive blessing upon blessing even if they are incarcerated.

We are also helping to bring from the foreign field 4 children that are in desperate need of medical treatment. Please pray with Terry and I these children will receive a miracle and healing from God. We need $270.000.00 to cover the visas and medical cost. If you feel you want to participate in giving to this need feel free to contact me at 407.620.9782 and/or go to our web-site http://www.youcanheal.org/. We will give a receipt for your funds for tax purposes. Remember it is better to give and receive. I am confident that almighty God will bless you abundantly.

We have been itinerating in order to pioneer a congregation in the metro area of Orlando Fl. But in the meantime we are also helping those in need of love, compassion and help.

Terry and I thank God we can help these individuals above through our ministry.
We wish all a great Fathers Day!

Fred Sanchez
Lead Pastor
Victorious Christian Living

Rev. We were glad when Maria our daughter that is in heaven today came into our lives from the country of Guatemala.
We were able to offer her prolonged life through medical treatment she would never have been able to afford and/or receive in Guatemala. Terry and I continue working toward rising our financial support budget through Faith Promises and as a group tonight we will be encouraging/praying, sharing our vision/task, goals, and plan for the future pioneering of our congregation in the Winter Springs FL. area.
On another note:
I cut and pasted the following article out of the "Today's Pentecostal Evanget' by Steve Pike.
It is very interesting and challenging. One of my main objective is to keep you informed about the awareness of Church Planting across the United States.

Conversation: Steve Pike
Churches Needed
As church attendance nationwide a cross denom inational lines continues to decline, Steve Pike, director of Assemblies of God U.S. Missions' Church Planting Department, says new churches are needed to curb the trend. Pike recently spoke with Jennifer McClure, assistant editor, and explained why church planting is part of the solution and how existing churches can involved.
tpe: Aren't there enough churches in the United States? Why should we plant more?

PIKE: George Barna estimates there are 100 million people in the United States who would not say they're Christians, or by our definition would not be considered Christians. On any given week, more than 80 percent of Americans are not connecting with the local church — Catholic, evangelical, mainline Christian denominations and Orthodox (TheAmericanChurch.org).
Now, consider this. Evidence of numerous studies — including a study conducted among Southern Baptist churches, a report by Aubrey Malphurs, and research by Dr. Ed Stetzer of Assemblies of God churches — shows new churches have a higher rate of effectiveness at reaching the lost than do existing churches.
One of the reasons why that's true is it's easier for someone to join something that's starting than something that's already in progress because when something is starting everybody's new. Part of it is a spiritual reason. When a new church is started, they are focused on reaching lost people.

tpe: If new churches are more effective, then what role can existing churches play?

PIKE: Every healthy church should consider planting a church immediately; and every church should aspire to it, whether they're healthy or not. I don't think that's supposed to be unusual.
The problem is we've accepted as normal what is actually abnormal. It's abnormal for the church to be a static presence that's identified with a building. It's normal for the church to be an organic force of God that's transforming the community.

tpe: How does planting a church impact the parent church?

PIKE: According to research by Dr. Ed Stetzer, churches that plant churches reach more unchurched people themselves, not counting those reached through the churches they plant. Other research reveals that over time churches that plant churches tend to experience a higher level of health than those that are not reproductive.
Churches focused on planting other churches also tend to avoid disagreements about peripheral issues (like music style or the color of the carpet). They stay focused on God's mission and tend to be happier and healthier.

tpe: What does it mean to be a Pentecostal church plant?

PIKE: I hope it's more than just a label. Pentecostal implies recognition of the provision of the Holy Spirit, and a dependence on the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, with the understanding that the purpose of the Holy Spirit was to empower us to be witnesses. The core function of the church is reaching the lost. That's what the Holy Spirit empowers us to do. We must not squander that empowerment.

tpe: What's the best way to plant a church?

PIKE: There are many different ways you can do it. We don't advocate any one form of church planting as the best.

tpe: What principles are essential to any church plant?

PIKE: First, in order for a church plant to be successful you've got to identify the right leader. Second, the church needs to be started with the lost, or the harvest, in mind. Right along with that, they need to be culturally informed. Different approaches, different styles of ministry, are effective in different settings. Also, a church is going to have the greatest chance of being successful long-term when it has a plan of discipleship.
Fred Sanchez
Lead Pastor

Rev. Steve Pike of Assemblies of God U.S. Missions Springfield posted this blog I found interesting"

I remember a conversation I had about 8 years ago. I was talking to a creative leader who had a passion for tangibly bringing God’s love to lost and forgotten young adults in a particular urban community. I asked him to describe what he wanted to do. With much waving of the arms and vigorous expressions of the face, he proceeded to describe what he believed needed to happen in this particular community. “First,” he said, “I need to connect with these kids on a personal, non-judgmental basis. They’ve got to know they are loved. That’s what’s missing in their life. Once they are absolutely convinced that they are loved, then I need to help them understand why they are loved. They need to know Jesus. Once they meet Jesus, then I’m going to help them follow Him where ever He leads. I don’t know what you call that, but that’s what God has laid on my heart.”
After listening carefully to his ministry plan, I immediately responded, “What you’ve described is a church! You want to start a church!” Very emphatically he responded with a firm, “No way! One thing for sure. I don’t want to start a church.” At first, his response puzzled me. But after further probing I realized that this very creative, innovative and prophetic leader had a very unbiblical definition of church. When I used the word “church”, he envisioned a group of people sitting in rows, looking at the back of a bunch of heads listening to a guy in a suit preach, preferably using a lot of “thee’s” and “thou’s.” He was convinced that whatever it was God was calling him to do, it was not to start a church. Fortunately, after further discussion and prayer together, he discovered that what he described was more like a church than most churches. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the last time I had a conversation like that with a leader like that. It seems to me like there is a lot of confusion out there about exactly what a church is?
How does a “church” sound? That’s almost like asking “How does “music” sound?” All music has some common elements like rhythm, notes, pitch, key, tones, etc. But last I checked websites like Rhapsody have hundreds of “channels” of different kinds of music. XM and Sirius each have at least 100 different genre’s of music played 24/7. All this variety is wonderful. “Different strokes for different folks.” Thank God that he has given us freedom to develop different kinds of churches for different kinds of people. Do you wonder if I’m just making that up? Consider what the “ultimate” church planter Paul of Tarsus wrote to the Corinthian church. 19Though I am free and belong to no man, I make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. 20To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. 21To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law. 22To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. 23I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings. First Corinthians 9:19-23.
Those are pretty strong words…”make myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible.” What would it look like if every church sounded like that? What if we majored in serving Christ, by serving everyone so that we minimize the chance that anyone is left behind. As I travel around the country, I’m encountering leaders and churches that are weary of “church as usual.” It seems like God is calling His people back to the basics…loving God and loving people. Now that’s a tune that sounds good where ever it is played!

Post your thought, concerns and opinion.

Rev. When Tom Wolf became its pastor in 1971, he motivated its members to aggressively evangelize their Hispanic neighbors. The church grew from an average attendance of 40 to 500, with 70 to 80 percent Latino.
When Wolf left the church to serve in missions overseas in 19996, Erwin McManus, a Hispanic born in El Salvador, became pastor. But despite their numerical minority, whites retained most of the church leadership. McManus took steps to integrate the leadership of the congregation, attracting more persons of color. Also, a large pocket of Asian Americans surfaced in near the church. McManus encouraged Mosaic's members to reach out to that community, expanding its largely white-Hispanic racial mix to one that today is roughly 30 percent each white, Asian-American, and Latino, and 10 percent from other racial group.
Finally, without neglecting its traditional overseas missions emphasis, local ministry has been assigned a higher priority, extending outreach beyond the local community to the greater L.A. urban area.

This leaves me to challenge you with this question.
Your response: I believe a spiritual neglected part of my community is...........
Looking to hear your comment.....

Rev. Our Senior Pastor Carl Stephens added one more service to our original 3 services on Sunday morning. This service starts at 1pm and we are seeing a great respond during this service.
This service is growing weekly and needs are being met(PTL).

Today is my day off, I will go to the Orlando State Prison and preach/disciple the church behind the walls. I came across this scripture this morning:
NKJ Proverbs 21:13 Whoever shuts his ears to the cry of the poor Will also cry himself and not be heard. God impressed in my heart that one of the things that grabs His attention is the poor, sick, hungry, lost SOULS in prisons.

Check-out this verse-- I hope it speaks to your heart:
'I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.' Then they also will answer Him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?' Then He will answer them, saying, 'Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me (Matthew 25:43-45 NKJ).
I'm out....... going to get BLESSED

Taking the Church to the people..........

Your for others!

Pastor Fred

Rev. Their objective is we have the power to heal children with affliction and infirmities. This organization brings children that need medical treatment in the United States. Terry and I helped distribute filers and meet people interested in helping this organization as host parents for the children coming into the country. Terry and I were host parents to a girl from Guatemala that is with the Lord. Healing the children has been doing tremendous work on the foreign field and in our target area of ministry. One of the needs of the
people in the community we are called to disciple have no medical plan and/or sufficient salaries to pay for medical treatment. Terry and I are partnering with Healing the Children in setting up clinics where the needy can come and receive medical treatment at no charge.
The scripture above reveals to me that God's heart and attention are on the lost, sick, poor and in prison. Terry and i want to be in agreement with the heart beat of God. In return He will lavish His mercy and grace upon those we come in contact with in our missions field whether abroad or here in the greater Orlando Florida area.
What a blessing to be in agreement with God and walk with Him directing our footsteps.
Pastor Fred & Terry

Rev. Our system was down for some time and Terry and I been blazing the trail raising prayer and financial support in order to pioneer a congregation in Winter Springs FL. We thank you for your concern, support and prayers.
Terry and I continue to work in our target area connecting with our community. We understand that from our work connecting sociologically a church will evolve from our relationships.
In my devotion this morning I came across this verse that griped my heart about our pionerring and our perseverance raising support in order to birth a healthy congregation.

NKJ Habakkuk 3:17 reads: Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls -v.18 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
This is where Terry and I find ourselves at times. Yet we can not comprehend/see God's complete plan for our call we know by faith He will accomplish His desire and Terry and I will always have praise upon our lips......
Talk to you soon!
Rev.
