VIERNES SOCIAL....

Hello friends,
Today is "Viernes Social" which means fellowship Friday! This sound better in Spanish. This is a Spanish tradition for Friday's. We get together with family, eat, laugh and share about how our week ended.

Terry and I will be sharing that we were scouting our target area and came upon a Hindu Temple being established in Winter Springs. This did not surprise Terry and I because we always knew that our area is being influenced by animistic religions. This is one of the reason why we feel called to this area of Winter Springs.

This reminds me about a scripture in the book of Ephesians 2:1-5

"And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),

We do not dislike Hindu's but come against their belief with intentions of setting them free from their animistic beliefs. Please pray with us that GOD give us favor in raising our financial support as we itinerate so that we can start reaching those from other countries that are here in the USA in a desperate need of the Savior Jesus Christ.

BACK HOME.....

Hello Friends,
Terry and i are back home after a great time of blazing the Missions trail. We went down to Belleview FL. and spent a great time with Pastor Carl Thompson. He is a great man of God. He has been serving the Lord for over fifty year in his community. PTL

We left there and went in the opposite direction to Bushnell Assembly of God Pastor Crane. This congregation is on fire for the Lord and have a desire to reach their community for Christ. They also have a desire to give to missions/church planting.

Terry and I are grateful to these two congregations that want to help support our vision/call for pioneering a congregation in the Orlando FL. metro area.
It is a blessing to know individuals that have a desire for reaching the lost.
Terry and I hugged on their necks, pray with them for their task of reaching their community, for blessing us with the love of Christ and partnering with our mission.

I truly believe almighty GOD is going to bless them abundantly in return.

BLAZING THE U.S. MISSION TRAIL....

Hello friends,

Terry and I had a great Father's Day!
We are off this afternoon to share our call at Belleview Assembly of God in Belleview Florida. I will be sharing from Acts chapter 1o. the story of Peter and Cornelius and how God is working in the life of the believer as well as the individual seeking God (Cornelius).
My main points will be:
  • Believers grow little by little.
  • Sometimes a person must choose to obey culture or God
  • God does not show favoritism.

Keep us in prayer.

OUR LABOR IS NOT IN VAIN........

Greeting Friends,
It is Saturday afternoon and we are looking forward to opportunities of meeting people sociologically and building relationships with those in our community that are in need.
Tomorrow we will spend time with God the Father at our home congregation.
Later in the afternoon we will spent time hanging out with the children and grandchildren. What a blessing!

We had a great week of ministry. We helped a family with a child that has an un-reversible medical condition go on a boat crews. We hosted them through the "Make a Wish foundation" they are having the time of their lives at no expense to them. Isn't God GOOD!

On Wednesday i officiated over a wedding at the Central Florida State Prison and what a tremendous blessing. The men we are disciplining are understanding that God can bring restoration into their lives through Jesus, that they can align their lives to the Word of God and receive blessing upon blessing even if they are incarcerated.

We are also helping to bring from the foreign field 4 children that are in desperate need of medical treatment. Please pray with Terry and I these children will receive a miracle and healing from God. We need $270.000.00 to cover the visas and medical cost. If you feel you want to participate in giving to this need feel free to contact me at 407.620.9782 and/or go to our web-site http://www.youcanheal.org/. We will give a receipt for your funds for tax purposes. Remember it is better to give and receive. I am confident that almighty God will bless you abundantly.

We have been itinerating in order to pioneer a congregation in the metro area of Orlando Fl. But in the meantime we are also helping those in need of love, compassion and help.

Terry and I thank God we can help these individuals above through our ministry.
We wish all a great Fathers Day!

YOU CAN HEAL......SET THE CAPTIVE FREE....

Whaz-up
Terry and I had a great weekend. We partnered with Healing the Children (Florida Chapter) http://www.youcanheal.org/site/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=4&Itemid=3&limit=1&limitstart=4down at the Nathaniel's Hope "Make them Smile" event. http://www.nathanielshope.org/pages/1.asp Please check-out these web-site and get familiar with some of the fantastic work God is doing in our community through hands of compassion.

Terry and i are helping children from the foreign field come to the United States and receive life changing medical treatment. We were glad when Maria our daughter that is in heaven today came into our lives from the country of Guatemala.
We were able to offer her prolonged life through medical treatment she would never have been able to afford and/or receive in Guatemala. But praise be to God for HIS provision and providence that HIS plan was for us to have Maria for 11 years and during these 11 years HE provide and we had the opportunity as servanthood leaders: to serve her and her family through provider medical treatment, prayer and eternal life in Christ.

I will keep you posted about four young children that are waiting for their miracle, maybe you will be able to give, host and/or provide prayer for these children.
On another Note:

I am excited about our prison ministry in the Orlando Reception Center. We have been teaching "Dad Coaching Clinic" to men who will be connecting with their families after spending x-amount of years in prison. We hand them a certificate they can present at their parole board meeting showing their accomplishment of a parenting class.

Tomorrow I have been given the honor and pleasure of reciting over the wedding vows of one of those men and his fiance at the state prison.
These men taking the class are learning biblical truths and principle for becoming better Dads.
The result of the teaching is them wanting to align they lives to the Word of God. PTL

I will keep you guys post of great things we are accomplishing for the Lost, Last, Least and the poor in our mission field. We have the power to heal and set the captive free. He that the SON sets free is free indeed!

Again, Please login to the web-sites above you will be blessed!

CHURCHES NEEDED!

Hello friends,
Today we get to hangout with our cell group and fellowship as we continue to move forward in reaching the lost in the Winter Spring FL. area. Terry and I continue working toward rising our financial support budget through Faith Promises and as a group tonight we will be encouraging/praying, sharing our vision/task, goals, and plan for the future pioneering of our congregation in the Winter Springs FL. area.
On another note:
I cut and pasted the following article out of the "Today's Pentecostal Evanget' by Steve Pike.
It is very interesting and challenging. One of my main objective is to keep you informed about the awareness of Church Planting across the United States.

Conversation: Steve Pike
Churches Needed
As church attendance nationwide a cross denom inational lines continues to decline, Steve Pike, director of Assemblies of God U.S. Missions' Church Planting Department, says new churches are needed to curb the trend. Pike recently spoke with Jennifer McClure, assistant editor, and explained why church planting is part of the solution and how existing churches can involved.
tpe: Aren't there enough churches in the United States? Why should we plant more?

PIKE: George Barna estimates there are 100 million people in the United States who would not say they're Christians, or by our definition would not be considered Christians. On any given week, more than 80 percent of Americans are not connecting with the local church — Catholic, evangelical, mainline Christian denominations and Orthodox (TheAmericanChurch.org).
Now, consider this. Evidence of numerous studies — including a study conducted among Southern Baptist churches, a report by Aubrey Malphurs, and research by Dr. Ed Stetzer of Assemblies of God churches — shows new churches have a higher rate of effectiveness at reaching the lost than do existing churches.
One of the reasons why that's true is it's easier for someone to join something that's starting than something that's already in progress because when something is starting everybody's new. Part of it is a spiritual reason. When a new church is started, they are focused on reaching lost people.

tpe: If new churches are more effective, then what role can existing churches play?

PIKE: Every healthy church should consider planting a church immediately; and every church should aspire to it, whether they're healthy or not. I don't think that's supposed to be unusual.
The problem is we've accepted as normal what is actually abnormal. It's abnormal for the church to be a static presence that's identified with a building. It's normal for the church to be an organic force of God that's transforming the community.

tpe: How does planting a church impact the parent church?

PIKE: According to research by Dr. Ed Stetzer, churches that plant churches reach more unchurched people themselves, not counting those reached through the churches they plant. Other research reveals that over time churches that plant churches tend to experience a higher level of health than those that are not reproductive.
Churches focused on planting other churches also tend to avoid disagreements about peripheral issues (like music style or the color of the carpet). They stay focused on God's mission and tend to be happier and healthier.

tpe: What does it mean to be a Pentecostal church plant?

PIKE: I hope it's more than just a label. Pentecostal implies recognition of the provision of the Holy Spirit, and a dependence on the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, with the understanding that the purpose of the Holy Spirit was to empower us to be witnesses. The core function of the church is reaching the lost. That's what the Holy Spirit empowers us to do. We must not squander that empowerment.

tpe: What's the best way to plant a church?

PIKE: There are many different ways you can do it. We don't advocate any one form of church planting as the best.

tpe: What principles are essential to any church plant?

PIKE: First, in order for a church plant to be successful you've got to identify the right leader. Second, the church needs to be started with the lost, or the harvest, in mind. Right along with that, they need to be culturally informed. Different approaches, different styles of ministry, are effective in different settings. Also, a church is going to have the greatest chance of being successful long-term when it has a plan of discipleship.
