Our task as Christians in the United States is to be missions-minded. It happens by directing our resources toward reaching the lost, breaking out of our walls and into our society, and compelling people with the gospel. This is called a missional approach.
A missional church is one that is faithful to the gospel - from the inerrancy of Scripture to the doctrine of Pentecost -- and that contextualizes or adapts the message to the culture. Like the apostle Paul, who said "he became all things to all people
(1Corinthians 9:22), we must reach, impact and change our culture by the power of the word. Whatever the community may be, we must frame our message accordingly and put the good news in a package that appeals to them. In simplest terms, it's faith in action!.
Terry and I, are looking forward to visiting your section/congregation and share more about our call with your members. We understand that you have a busy calendar schedule for the upcoming months. Please consider having us share at your congregation. I will be calling you in order to set-up an appointment with you and/or your Missions Committee. Our Mission is to reach the spiritually lost people of America by mobilizing prayer, people and resources. The need is great in the greater Orlando FL. area. They are families in this area that have never heard a credible offer of the Gospel message. Please help us reach them....it is imperative that we go and we are ready for you to send us.
We believe that God has called the Assemblies of God back to basics in these last days! Jesus said "I will build my Church" and He is doing so. New church plants are springing up all over this nation and together we as a fellowship of churches are sacrificially responding to God's call to multiply. Again Thank you for your prayers and support. We are looking forward to meeting with you......!.
Terry and I enjoyed a busy month of itinerating. We started by blazing the mission trail down to Belleview Florida. in Section 4. We shared during the service our passion/call with Pastor Carl Thompson and his congregation. Pastor Thompson shared he came to Belleview First Assembly of God in 1994.
He is married to Glenda Thompson and have one daughter. He has been serving the Assembly of God and his community for a great number of years. He has a legacy of service, valuable information about servant-hood leadership and looking forward to the future. They are both truly a trophy of God's Kingdom. Terry and I bless their efforts, prayers and support.
BUSHNELL FULL GOSPEL ASSEMBLY OF GOD
We had the opportunity the following week to trail blaze and meet Pastor Clarence & Merit Crane of Bushnell Full Gospel Assembly of God
His Mission Committee invited Terry and I to come on a Sunday evening and share our hearts/desire for pioneering a congregation in the greater Orlando area. Pastor Crane, and his Congregation have a heart for missions in America and in the foreign field.
This is a church that wants to engage our culture with the truth of the gospel in ways they can grasp, they want to reach the unreached in their own community and across the nation.
We had a great time of fellowship after the service sharing God's mighty deeds in our lives and about the church getting beyond the sanctuary walls. Pastor Crane and his wife left foot prints on our hearts and they will always be in the root of our prayers. We thank them for their prayers and financial support in the future.
OCALA MARION OAKS ASSEMBLY OF GOD
The following week we blazed the trail to Ocala Marion Oaks Assembly of God
We met with Pastor Tim & Jan McIntyre, his children and precious grandchildren. He invited us to come and share during their two Sunday morning services.
Pastor Tim and his congregation support U.S. Missions and Missionaries in the foreign field. They are doing effective ministry Glo-cally reaching/discipling the community of Marion Oaks and around the world. "Their church is unique because of its diversity, they are several ethic cultures being represented in his congregation, says Pastor Tim."
Pastor Tim and his missions committee were in the process of sending out two teams to evangelize/minister in Miami and Alabama. Terry and I want to thank them for their expression of faith in action, their prayers and support.

We need churches who will give, who will help us serve, who will adjust their schedules and who will help us reach our mission field to reach the lost.
My challenge to you this month is to embrace His love and to share it with others. Thank you for demonstrating your love for the Lord and compassion for His people by partnering with us in sharing the gospel. God bless you as you seek Him and serve Him in love and obedience.
"And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, as a testimony to all nations; and then the end will come" (Matthew 24:14). Terry and I would like to thank our financial and prayer support team. Taking the Church to the people Believing Big for the impossible!
Yours, for Others!
